Looking for a job in Santa Fe can be a very frustrating experience, because desire to be here is great and opportunities are few. But Careers First has been a bright light in that process, and a godsend on occasion. There are jobs listed on many sites but what Shannon offers is phenomenal instinct for finding the right fit between worker & hiring companies, and knowing the wrong fit, even when it might look like the right fit. I found her to be detailed, honest, realistic, fair, unwaveringly sensible, and if you have good taste in personalities, I'd say even delightful. Her associate, Darren, is knowledgeable, will take the extra stride to be helpful, and has that crucial (but rare at a staffing agency) 'can do' willingness to be flexible amid juggling schedules, demands, & details. There is no perfect process, Santa Fe is a job market offering few guarantees, but this team has been 'spot on' in my experience, and is a terrific resource.

I love working with Shannon and Darren at Careers First! Several years ago I struggled to find a career in Santa Fe that best fit my interests and skill set. A position was recommended to me by Shannon that I had no experience in but she assured me I would be great for the position. I interviewed and got the job, and I am still here 3 years later. I love the people I work with and the work I do. Now I work with Careers First to help find coverage when short staffed and for hiring as well. They make it easy for me to get the right people in the roles we have available and greatly reduce the amount of stress other companies may have when it comes to hiring and finding temp help. Thank you Careers First, you truly are the BEST!!!

I have had many exceptional experiences with Careers First (both Shannon & Darren.) They are GREAT! They are always professional, communicative with status on positions available, and follow-up promptly. I have been taking assignments off and on with them for many years and they always come through to meet both theirs and my needs.

Terrible. Shannon Boniface, the owner does not respond to emails and will accuse potential candidates of being angry when she fails to reply to simple questions. After sending two emails inquiring about positions listed and Shannon sending a "Read Receipt" back to the sender, she did not respond with answers to questions. After calling to follow up on the two emails that were not acknowledged she accused the caller of "being angry". I would suggest that if you plan on sustaining any kind of business in Santa Fe especially one that is based on those who come to your office for employment that you treat them with respect and acknowledge emails and phone calls without an offensive attitude. I would not suggest using this company. Terrible attitude but typical for Shannon.

I have been an employee of Careers First for almost a year, and have had a great experience. I worked for employment agencies before in another state, so I am familiar with the business. The people at this agency are sensitive and responsive - love working with them.
