Looking for a job in Santa Fe can be a very frustrating experience, because desire to be here is great and opportunities are few. But Careers First has been a bright light in that process, and a godsend on occasion. There are jobs listed on many sites but what Shannon offers is phenomenal instinct for finding the right fit between worker & hiring companies, and knowing the wrong fit, even when it might look like the right fit. I found her to be detailed, honest, realistic, fair, unwaveringly sensible, and if you have good taste in personalities, I'd say even delightful. Her associate, Darren, is knowledgeable, will take the extra stride to be helpful, and has that crucial (but rare at a staffing agency) 'can do' willingness to be flexible amid juggling schedules, demands, & details. There is no perfect process, Santa Fe is a job market offering few guarantees, but this team has been 'spot on' in my experience, and is a terrific resource.
