Moved to Floridana Beach from Ohio and needed a screen room put on the home we purchased. A estimate with Housman's salesman Brian was given on January 19, 2017. Coincidentally, our original estimate was increased by $1800 just two weeks later. Brian told us the room would be completed by the end of February and our initial deposit was made on February 1st.After numerous delays and excuses, we finally had a floor and knee wall installed the end of April! The contractors that did this work were less than skilled, to say the least, and left a mess for us to clean up! We are now waiting for this work to be painted and stuccoed before the room can be completed. We have been given no indication as to when this room will be completed and are totally frustrated and disappointed in the customer service provided by Housman's! We have never been contacted by Housman's regarding when to expect contractors or when delays occur. We call them weekly to find out what the status of our build is. Our constant communication with Housman's has been an ongoing nightmare!! No one from the owner, Mark, to the salesman Brian, to the office administrator, Chris, return phone calls.We are now in limbo as to when, if ever, our room will be done!! We planned the build early to insure it would completed before our family comes to visit in June, which seems highly unlikely now!!I'm posting this as a warning to anyone considering using Housman's for any job. Do not sign a contract with this company!! They are unprofessional, inconsiderate and disrespectful!! I will be reporting this incident to the BBB!! We are contacting the Brevard County Contracting Licensing Board to see what our obtains are. I will also be telling friends and neighbors in Brevard County about our nightmare experience with Housman's!!Randy & Susie WaughFOLLOW UPRoom finally completed after 6 months. No one should ever consider using this company as they have the worst customer service ever!!As for any positive comments on this website, I’m sure they were done by Housman employees!!We’ve told everyone we know in Brevard County about our experience with Housman’s and advised them never to use them!!Update 8/3/2018Warning ⚠️ Housman’s no longer has reviews on their website or Facebook due to all the negative reviews!!

Linda and all the folks I met at Housman's are awesome! They did a great job replacing my pool cage screens for a competitive price. They started and finished when they said they would and the results look great. In addition, Linda steered me to some related service providers who also did an excellent job sprucing up our pool deck. The icing on the cake was the support I received from Linda after the job by helping me resolve an issue with my original screen door latch mechanism.Bottom line... Housman's provides great service and followup.JP

I wish zero stars for was an option for this POS company. They were scheduled to replace my screen on a Tuesday. The guy called me after 5:00 PM on that Tuesday and said they couldn't get to me and that they would definitely be there tomorrow, no apology for not getting to me that day. I come home from work on Wednesday, same old screen. I call them Wednesday afternoon, leave a voicemail and then call them again Thursday morning. Linda, who i spoke to originally to schedule, can't even find my ticket. She calls me back after finding my ticket and she said someone would be out today to replace the screen, again no apology for the day before or for losing my ticket. I come home after work and only part of the screen has been replaced. I call them to complain and Linda turns it around on me saying that i told her i wanted the panel replaced not the door. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HER IT WAS A LARGE PANEL AND A DOOR AND I REMINDED HER OF THAT CONVERSATION WHICH SHE DENIED DENIED DENIED. First rule of customer service? THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. And i was. Not once did i get an apology or even have someone offer me a discount, she just proceeded to ask me for my credit card information WHICH it ended up being $25 more than she originally told me it was going to be. I will NEVER use this company again and you shouldn't either.

They may do great work,but, Tyson Boyer came and took measurements and said he would get right back to me. Been 7 days, tried calling him,tried calling office no answer from either. Left message but apparantly not interested in my business. Guess I'LL take my business elsewhere.

Very nice owner. It should be known I'm not a customer. I was working on a window screen frame and he took the time to help teach me how to do it properly. He is very knowledgeable about what he does.

Awesome experience! Really do not understand the few negative reviews. We had Houseman's demo our old 50' screen enclosure and build a new one. Could not be happier with the finished product. Had a few minor service issues and they were handled promptly and efficiently. Thanks Dale! Highly recommend these people.
