Complete lies from start to finish. We came up from Chattanooga, TN on an ad and conversation and car fax report from the dealer, and salesman “bob”. You could see a check engine light on in the pictures posted of the car. Which gave me pause of course. I advised we’d be coming from Chattanooga and needed integrity and candor in the deal. Then we were advised the car allegedly went through the Honda certification process we felt much better about inquiring about the car and going to purchase it. Also after I inquired about the light I was told it went through Honda certification, and it was on due to the oil needing to be changed. So after our conversation we made the trip up. After a 4.5 hour trip we arrive in the pouring rain. The check engine light was still on. Which if you remember from before was told to be because of an oil change. Once I cranked it for the test drive and asked why it was on they tried to blame the light being on because of the radio. Point blank to my face. If you know anything about cars you know the maintenance light has nothing to do with radios. So they tried to blame that light on the radio, which wasn’t working due to needing a radio code allegedly. Who knows honestly since we couldn’t call a dealer and get a code to see if it would work. Reluctantly we took it for a test drive. With no working radio, and a maintenance required light on. After just a few miles we pull over to pop the hood under an over hang at a convenience station. Once we stopped and the car was idling not only was the maintenance light still on but the entire check engine light came on and a light advising to check the four wheel drive. The steering/turning also became tight as we drove, not sure if that’s a power steering pump or what. I am just appalled at the blatant lies, dishonesty, and an obvious lack of care at all from the salesman, and staff. DONT BUY A BICYCLE FROM THIS PLACE!!! I am a gay man, and my husband came with me. Not sure if they thought, “oh two gay guys they don’t know anything about cars, we’ll clear the lights and hope they don’t come on and hopefully we’ll get their money before it does and it won’t be our problem anymore”, or what...but again...Go anywhere but this place to buy a car. It won’t be a decision you regret! They clearly do anything in their power to get a car running just long enough to get your cash, and then it’s your problem! Good luck!
