Single best car buying experience I have ever had! Billy Fields took great care of us this weekend and went out of his way to earn our business...from 3.5 hours away! I won't recommend any other Honda dealer inside of 200 miles.

Complete lies from start to finish. We came up from Chattanooga, TN on an ad and conversation and car fax report from the dealer, and salesman “bob”. You could see a check engine light on in the pictures posted of the car. Which gave me pause of course. I advised we’d be coming from Chattanooga and needed integrity and candor in the deal. Then we were advised the car allegedly went through the Honda certification process we felt much better about inquiring about the car and going to purchase it. Also after I inquired about the light I was told it went through Honda certification, and it was on due to the oil needing to be changed. So after our conversation we made the trip up. After a 4.5 hour trip we arrive in the pouring rain. The check engine light was still on. Which if you remember from before was told to be because of an oil change. Once I cranked it for the test drive and asked why it was on they tried to blame the light being on because of the radio. Point blank to my face. If you know anything about cars you know the maintenance light has nothing to do with radios. So they tried to blame that light on the radio, which wasn’t working due to needing a radio code allegedly. Who knows honestly since we couldn’t call a dealer and get a code to see if it would work. Reluctantly we took it for a test drive. With no working radio, and a maintenance required light on. After just a few miles we pull over to pop the hood under an over hang at a convenience station. Once we stopped and the car was idling not only was the maintenance light still on but the entire check engine light came on and a light advising to check the four wheel drive. The steering/turning also became tight as we drove, not sure if that’s a power steering pump or what. I am just appalled at the blatant lies, dishonesty, and an obvious lack of care at all from the salesman, and staff. DONT BUY A BICYCLE FROM THIS PLACE!!! I am a gay man, and my husband came with me. Not sure if they thought, “oh two gay guys they don’t know anything about cars, we’ll clear the lights and hope they don’t come on and hopefully we’ll get their money before it does and it won’t be our problem anymore”, or what...but again...Go anywhere but this place to buy a car. It won’t be a decision you regret! They clearly do anything in their power to get a car running just long enough to get your cash, and then it’s your problem! Good luck!

The best experience I've had purchasing a car! I reached out to other dealerships 1-3hr driving distance to see if I could find a more competitive price on the car my wife and I was in the market for. I began speaking with David L. at Tim Short Honda and from the beginning he was extremely helpful, honest, and followed thru with all my requests all the while exhibiting none of the sales pressure I was experiencing with other dealerships. Being about 3.5hr away, it was going to take an entire day for my wife and I (both of us work along with having 3 kids) to drive to pickup the car, David was willing to deliver the car. He took more pictures to confirm everything with the car and 'hand' delivered the car to us the same day. We love the van we purchased. Thanks to David L (and his driver David) for making the long drive and seamless transaction. Highly highly recommended!

I contacted David Lickliter last week and told him exactly what I was looking for and I was hoping to get a decent quote before I made the drive from Jacksonville, NC to purchase. Within a few minutes, I was given a quote and the option to go ahead and hold the car until Monday of this week. I was hesitant at first, but given the quote on my new CR-V, I went ahead and locked in my price and my perfect car. I arrived yesterday afternoon with everything but a few signatures completed and my new car ready to go. It was literally “in and out” and I couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you to David and your team for taking care of me and working so hard to make this happen from so far away! You definitely have a repeat customer!

Purchased a used vehicle from out of town. Had the car professionally inspected to make sure everything was good. When I arrived to pick the vehicle up it was filthy inside / out and empty on fuel. (I gave heads up of my arrival a week in advance and called the day before arriving to make sure. I was promised the car would be ready.) Also the car had 200 more miles on it than when I had it inspected and someone smoked in the car. This was a $40,000 car I purchased from them. I would appreciate it if they would at least stop joy riding in it after I sent them payment. The car still has an oil leak that they claimed was no big deal and would be taken care of. Plus the car had lame dealership advertisement stickers all over it. There is zero reason to ever be driving through Ivel Kentucky. But if you ever find yourself there. Don't buy a used car from Tim Short Honda. Because if it's a nice enough car, rest assured the management beat the hell out of it for a few weeks prior to sale. Other than that this place is great!
