I did some work for the Payroll Factory not too long ago. American Can-Do and "Pennsylvania is open for business" is their creed! I struggled in during a snow storm along with the rest of the staff :) It was the best company I ever worked for; the work was challenging and newish to me but I was well helped and their competence, systems and expertise is rock solid as far as I could tell from my own experience and expertiseFull disclosure! I have a family member working there too and the company would insist I disclose that. That brings me quickly to what I liked mainly about them: they play a 'straight bat' as they say in the UK and practice what they preach regarding business ethics and 'follow through' practices without being 'starchy' about it. A rare combination. This is getting rarer in today's business world I am sorry to say and is becoming an issue of concern to me and others. Staff stay as long as they can and provide, consequently a hight level of service based on experience and knowledge. I think all the current staff have been there longer than five years and most more than fifteen. There is a running training program for professional development ingrained into the way the business is run. The ethos is to provide a custom built service with attention the details most companies miss: not a cookie cutter service. That ethos coincides with mine as it happens and maybe was why I fitted so well? I can recommend, especially, their approach to secure and solid IT though cannot reveal details of their measures.
