To those families, individuals with or without children please don't go by these reviews. My little family and I are tenants here at the Park and have been tenants for almost a year. Honestly speaking, despite our personal challenges, this complex and their staff have been nothing but caring and understanding. I will mention names such as Miguel in maintenance who is always caring and prompt, in fact, their ENTIRE maintenance staff will do everything in their power to fix the problem themselves and if it is out of their reach, the issue will be resolved, replaced and taken care of PERIOD. Ms. Faye and Mr. Andres in the office are always sure to do their due diligence to answer any questions or concerns and even push those concerns through to the right outlets if needed. The property manager in the back office is very involved and approachable which is something rare, usually their open door policy is only for their own staff but not hers. As a community, they are sure to have events such as free back packs for kids during back to school or a just because get together for the community with bounce houses, vendors, games and a lot more for us to have a place to get together and feel like family. Last but not least, Ms. Scott for always going the extra mile to help and accommodate us especially when we have most needed it. My respect for Ms. Scott has grown significantly given her ability to be as compassionate and understanding. Truth be told, she is blunt and honest given her title but nevertheless caring. If anyone at The Park at Lake Magdalene's corporate office reads this, I hope that they keep into account just how amazing their Tampa team is, especially Ms. Scott who in my opinion is truly an asset for us as tenants and our community.

They never answer the phone, and if you leave a message they will never call you back. Roaches and ants everywhere, and they still charge you for pest control, pest control never visited my apartment in two years.

Ok! Where do I start?! When I came to this apartment I told them around the time I was able to move they said they will have an apartment available so I applied for the apartment and got approved a week later after I applied and paid my fees they called me and told me that the apartment was avail sooner and that I had to take it or they will have to give it up to another potential tenant which was very inconvenient for me as I was still paying rent at my previous place and had to pay extra just so I would not loose this place. Once I decide to go ahead leave my current place a month early they rushed me to come in and sign my lease 2 days before my actual move in day. When it was time for me to move in nothing was ready which inconvenience me even more. When I finally receive my keys hours later on if the apartment keys did not work and I returned the key to office and never received another second key. The building that I was in was infested with roaches that I tried my hardest to get rid of. I would have seen these before I moved in I would have definitely not moved into there. The roaches were horrible and the exterminating DID NOT work at all! Even after all of this I was considering to upgrade to a bigger apartment but in order to do that I would have had to start the whole process of applying for it again and paying fees again which did not make any sense. So when I put in my 60 day notice then thats when they wanted to work a deal out with me which was to late. I recently moved out a day ago which was the best decision ever and when I went to turn my keys in which was the ONLY keys received because everything was rushed I was told that I received keys for the pool and laundry area which I NEVER RECEIVED or heard of. I never used either of those things since I have been living there. The document that signed for the keys was all HANDWRITTEN which could have been entered after I signed the document. Now I am told that fees will be deducted out of my deposit that I am suppose to receive back over things I did not receive. I am very disappointed in this complex and I wish I did not have to give them a star at all! I also reached out to corporate office in the beginning of my lease and never received a call back!

One star because there is no option for ZERO stars.Lived here for two years, 2 different apartments. The staff was very friendly when I was renting, but that soon changed. Mistakes in billing (the bookkeeping lady accused me of purposely not paying a charge that WAS NOT reflected on my statement but she told me "you should know you owe this,"and Never admitted it was their mistake. No apology and when I insisted she said "I'm not going to say what you want me to say"), leaking ceiling in the kitchen, metal cover on air vent falling on my head. Second apt was even worse! Roaches, rats in the pantry, dishwasher not draining -twice, air conditioner leaking extensively on 4 occasions, common water heater breaking down and flooding hallway AND my living room (2 days without hot water), finally I decided to move.I gave my notice and because it was 8 days into the 60 days before vacating, was told I would need to pay a penalty prorated at the new INCREASED rent at a month to month fee. I'm outta there and never again. DON'T RENT HERE!1. It's too expensive for this slum2. It takes FOREVER for repairs 3. The "amenities" they tell you about don't really exist.

this is the worse place you could live ,do not move here .I found the ground keepers in my apartment looking through my things I have had things stolen from me and its being done by the staff.bunch of crooks.The staff are the ones who are breaking into the apartments.be careful if you have had any problems here please respond.thank you

Stay away from this place. It sucks. I have been living here for 2 years now. Worst mistake ever. I have rats. I have been complaining for months. Maintenance is the worst they close the work orders without fixing nothing. Management is real bad. Endless amount of s..t you will be dealing with if you move here. Don't make the same mistake i did and listen to the reviews.

It really was a terrible experience to live in this apartment community, bad management attention, the maintenance people never had enough resources for the arrangements, lived two years and three months supporting all kinds of animals in the apartment from opossum to mice and Cockroaches constantly requested pest control and colo went whenever they felt like it.The last months were a hell with the people of the administration because their rudeness exceeded the limits, besides all threw the documents of my husband and never responded for them.A community disaster of the worst, not recommended.I had to live with problems of all kinds, people getting drugged on the stairs of the building, smoking, garbage from the same neighbors contaminating everyone's space, in addition to all kinds of fights, cars parked for months without anyone doing anything a total disorder.

This place seems to be made out of cardboard. I lived a horrible experience there I rented an apartment and I heard everything from the upper floor. I could barely sleep for three months

Please don't tell me like every others posting You want to sincerely apologize for my negative experiences here at park at lake magdalene apartments. However you'd like to learn more about my situation and what exactly happened. Because I all ready told many time about my situation. If you want to make things right ,read all negative comments and start to work on it!! This is not my job to contact via email your maintenance supervisor or the property manager to be sure you will coming repairs my apt. They should treat their residents with more respect. I never complained before. I told at the office I will give them a bad coment if they don'trepair my apt So here I am.I Asked at the office every Friday!!!!! to repair my kitchen cabinets, the floor tile cracking in my livingroom and I can't used that area anymore. and my window slides are obsolete can't lock at all.2 months I waiting and still not repaired today😡 no one came to check every months you got a water problem .they don't tell you 24h in advance that will be shut off. The pesticide come only 1 time in a year so ants cockroaches and rats everywhere....I'm not the only one who complains about that problem. outside light are so small for a big apt complex it's so dark after sun are down .many of them are out and never changed or replaced. the gym are only opened during office hours and closed on Sunday so you can't used after your working days or in your weekend. This isn't open 24h like other complex The lundy room are dirty with no air conditioning.most of the machines are out.all mosquito scrims in every apts are broken never changed. Unfortunately for them The list are long......Ps: the rental price increase each year

I lived there for one year. Bad owners, bad management, and bad maintenance staff.These people have all residents contact information on file. If they really wanted to "make it right" they would reach out to mistreated residents.
