I run a small business and was desperately seeking an experienced accountant who would take the time to walk me through the essentials of bookkeeping and tax preparation. When I met Ruslan I was blown away by his patience and willingness to go above and beyond. I have always been intimidated by the bookkeeping/tax process and tend to get embarrassed by my lack of knowledge in these areas. Ruslan took all of those worries away, got my books in order and continues to patiently answer ALL of my questions.My business continues to grow steadily and, thanks to Ruslan and his team at StowBrook, I can rest assured that I am prepared and know what to expect come tax season. Terrible customer service.I met Ruslan in mid 2018 about solving my personal and business tax issues. He was kind at the time and later requested me to submit necessary documents, which I did. However my good experience ended right there as well.Now six months have passed. Nothing has happened. Countless unanswered emails and phone calls just proved their inability of taking care of their customers.Don’t waste your time. Better bringing your business elsewhere.

I highly recommend StowBrook Business Services for individuals, families, and businesses. I worked with Ruslan Burshteyn on my personal taxes. When I came to him, I was completely disorganized. He was able to quickly help me get myself in order, and he clearly explained how the process would work. In addition, I had a few unique issues, and Ruslan took the time to look closely at them and explain how they would affect my tax return. In addition, Ruslan is incredibly responsive and accessible. Anytime I have an issue, he quickly responds via phone or e-mail to my questions. Because of his responsiveness, personal attention, and knowledge, Ruslan is my go to guy for these issues.

Ruslan is our new accountant and he did a great job! He is thorough in his efforts to help us save money and warm and easy going which reduces the stress I always have about taxes. The materials he provided were clear and also very thorough. He worked up several options for us which was great. My father adored his accountant who also was at Stowbrook until he passed away several years ago. This place is excellent, has integrity and heart. We are sticking with Ruslan for the future.
