This payroll system is WAY too difficult and WAY too many steps and is not user friendly. It should not take 2 hours to process a payroll of only 20 employees (most of which are salary). Customer service is about the worst ever! It feels as if you are inconveniencing them if you dare call to ask a question about their system! Further, they failed to make our 4Q payroll tax payments and did NOT notify us about it. We found out via letter from the IRS! When we called to question why the tax payment had not been made, they didn't respond for weeks and then advised that "it was being handled."

I am a business owner, and Southwestern Payroll has been my payroll company for almost 10 years. In all that time, they have never made a mistake, and their team has always been great about pinging me when it's time to run payroll. They are super precise, and great with details. They've saved my bacon quite a few times. I've been working with members of their team for so long that they're really more like family these days. I love my payroll company!

The company can thank Mr. Jim Jarvis for this review. We are a small company and was referred to them and was told we could be helped. He spoke to us about our business and all and asked us to send documents verifying our business. The email address he gave us bounced back and we called him back to verify. We told him his email bounced back and he rudely said we can't help you and find someone else to do our payroll and hung up on us. Not very good business Mr. Jarvis.
