We were referred to Sapphire by a friend and were unfortunately disappointed in their services. In the past I have completed our taxes myself, however wanted to save time this year and also needed advice on a couple things. Answers were unclear and incorrect. It took a long time to hear back from Dianne as apparently her other staff member was on vacation and she could not handle the workload. They then reported my maternity EI income as double what it should have been, which I thankfully discovered before signing my T183. I may as well have done my taxes myself again this year as it would have been easier than dealing with this firm. We won’t be using their services again.

This is the absolute BEST place to go for any tax reason whatsoever! I am talking 100% from my own personal experience. I am so grateful that I was referred to the Sapphire team, thank you so much for everything and I will be a life long customer as well send families and friends their way because I know they will be taken care of!

Told me they filed my return, they DIDN'T ACTUALLY FILE MY RETURN FOR 2 MORE YEARS resulting in $7000 in fines for me. When I asked how such an error could have occurred, they cited my low intelligence as the problem, not their disastrous procedural ineptness.Just found out from the CRA there was another discrepancy in reported income on another return they did. When I looked in the envelope of financial statements THESE ACCOUNTANTS sent back to me, I found 2-3 months worth of financial statements that had not been entered.Bringing the total fines to $8000, $7000 in blatant lies, and $1000 in complete lack of competence.They call me once a year to ask for my business, and once a year I tell them exactly why they'll NEVER HAVE IT AGAIN.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The previous receptionist had not charged me enough initially for filing a 2010 tax return. Then 6 months later when they were going over their books they harassed me until I agreed to pay the fifty dollars that I supposedly owed them. They were extremely rude to deal with and I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.
