I have to preface by saying I don't have that most experience with attorney interaction but from my limited dealings with attorneys I've concluded... Joe is the diamond in the rough! I met with Joe on a legal matter he was very candid about my situation which i very much appreciated, asked a lot of questions and is just generally a very personable guy. I haven't decided my next steps yet but if you're looking for an attorney who will actually listen to you and walk you through all your questions he's got my vote!

I spoke with several other attorneys before settling on Joe and my first impression was that not only was he knowledgeable about labor law but he also understood the nuances of public agency. As important as his knowledge of the law was, I was impressed that he listened, he understood, and he gave me feedback that helped me understand what I could expect throughout the process. I appreciated Joe's collaborative approach and sound judgement as he worked through several scenarios to bring the situation to a successful close. I hope to never need another attorney for an issue like this but if I do, I would not hesitate to hire Joe again. It was a pleasure to work with Joe and I highly recommend him!

I hired Joe Rose to represent me in a wrongful termination case. Joe is organized, prepared and flawlessly presented my case with his vast knowledge and respect of labor laws. He was extremely efficient, impeccable with written briefs and presentation skills. He's honest, trustworthy, respectful and professional. Joe is sensible with his approach to handling witnesses but fearless with his cross-examination skills. He fearlessly held witnesses accountable to bring out the facts we needed the arbitrator to hear to overturn my termination. I have complete confidence in Joe Rose and without hesitation would call on him if I ever have any employment issues arise. If you are looking for a super lawyer, look no further. I hired Joe Rose because I realized, after working with a company for a year, that they were not paying me or anyone I worked with overtime. They were taking advantage of the fact that most of their employees were a little younger, and that we didn't really know the labor laws of California. I attempted to get this situation resolved by myself with Labor Comissions, but they pretty much laughed in my face because I didn't have "sufficient evidence". This is when I decided to hire an attorney with another coworker, and I am extremely grateful I had made that decision. We were up against one of the largest real estate investing companies in all of Sacramento, so I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Luckily, Joe took us in, consulted our situation, recommended we get as many other employees as we could involved, then went to work to get what was rightfully ours. Joe was very attentive, and kept us updated almost daily as to the standing and progression of our case. Joe was extremely confident that we had a good case, and continued to work away through every objection that was thrown at us. The people we were up against, being very affluent in the Sacramento area, had hired and fired a couple different lawyers, who kept coming up with different defenses that were completely absurd. Finally, because they knew we were going to win the case because of how strong it was, the defense decided to settle, and me along with all of my coworkers at the time were compensated for the amount of work that we had put in, and more for the fraud and lies that we had to prove before we got there. I would highly recommend Joe Rose if anyone is looking for a lawyer who will be attentive, considerate, and completely honest throughout your case. He was clearly in it for the passion of his work, not just to get money out of people. Again, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks Joe for all of your help!!
