I am giving this Quest Lab only 3 stars. Why??? I think the workers are very nice and quite knowledgeable, and the time waiting on walk-ins has been usually short, (we usually go around 4 pm, after work ), and the West Mifflin Quest appears to be very clean and organized. I would give them 5 stars for all of the above list. But, here is where the problem lies.... THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!! I have TRIED 4 TIMES TODAY to call with some questions for a test that I need to have completed. This last time, I WAS ON HOLD FOR 28 MINUTES!!! UNEXCEPTABLE AND INEXCUSABLE!!! I finally hung up! It makes you wonder, "Is this the reason there is such a short waiting time on walk-ins?" If you don't answer, you don't have as many customers? But, I also tried calling the main appointment number to try to talk to a representative. Guess what??? Yup... I finally gave up and hung up! You get stuck in an Automated Hell!!! Please, HIRE A RECEPTIONIST TO ANSWER YOUR PHONES AT THE LOCAL OFFICES. FIX YOUR AUTOMATED SYSTEM!!! ADD IN THE BEGINNING OF THE RECORDING, ie... "IF YOU NEED TO SPEAK WITH A REPRESENTATIVE, PLEASE PRESS NUMBER 3." I never heard, nor do you have this option. The frustration l feel everytjme I need to call Quest is rediculious and let's me know that Quest does not care about, not only it's potential patients, but also for their employees with having to multi-task and could lead to mistakes. Who will suffer??? The patient, of course!!! Thank you!!!
