On the morning I was supposed to go to the Quest facility in Sebastian (FL) to have some lab work done, I attempted to call to verify that the facility had received the lab order from my doctor's office. To my astonishment, I discovered that the only phone number available to call was that of a call center. When I phoned the call center I discovered that there was no record of an "electronic" order having been placed. I was also told that if the order had been faxed to them (instead of having been sent "electronically"), the call center would not be able to find that out. But the icing on the cake was that the call center could not even phone the facility directly to find out if the order had been placed.Unable to contact the facility directly, or to otherwise determine that an order for service had been received at that particular facility, I called my doctor's office. They told me the order had been faxed, but couldn't verify that it had been received at Quest. Moreover, they also had no way of contacting the facility directly to confirm or deny that it had been received. So, rather than drive all the way to facility to find out if I was going to be able to have the work done, I had my doctor's office place a new order at a Labcorp facility nearby.I won't be choosing Quest again in the future.
