Just left this office after waiting 1 1/2 hours to have blood drawn. There were two people, the phlebotomists, working there. One left for lunch, leaving one staff person on site with a waiting room FULL of people, many of whom had been fasting all morning. This is completely unprofessional, as well as unsafe, in my opinion. The check-in is by computer, so there is not a person at the front desk. The door to the back is locked, so any one needing the rest room, or to ask a question, has to wait until someone comes out to grab the door before it locks. In the time I was waiting, I saw a man who had to wait until the staff person came out (to call the next person) to tell her (and everybody in the room) that he couldn’t register because he couldn’t read. Another woman, who just needed a copy made of her insurance and drivers license, waited 20+ min. for the lone staff person to come out. Come on, Quest- surely you can afford to adequately staff your offices!
