Client Review on Quest Diagnostics Balsam PSC

Feedback:

I have had very bad experiences when I've had to come here. Here are the problems with this business:1. Inconvenient hours. They close at 4:45 (the door says 5, but they always lock the door at 4:45 so they can leave earlier). This is most inconvenient, as some of us have working hours or other obligations that make it easier to get this stuff done in the evenings. Would be really nice if they stayed open until 7, it would give me much more of a window of opportunity to get there after work. 2. Rude staff. I have talked to *one* nice receptionist in my 50+ visits here. The others were very rude, and got annoyed if they had to update insurance information/credit card info etc. The waits are very long (15+ minutes), even when there are only one or two other patients in the waiting room. The phlebotomists are at least polite. 3. No privacy: They normally draw your blood in open stalls that have just a little curtain between them, and they aren't shy about saying your name or what you are getting tested in front of other patients. They do have a room, but they usually only draw kids blood there so the parents can be with them. 4. No close locations : I live in a zip code with 46,000 people. There is no location there. Nor is there a location in the next zip code, which has 35,000 people. The nearest location is 15 minutes away from my house, and sadly this is the closest major lab until the centura facility opens on coal mine and Kipling.Cleanliness and prices are ok.
