After we’re all dead and buried, these people will still call. The earth could implode, then disappear into an orb of light, and somewhere, a phone would ring with them on the other end. They are supernatural, positively wicked, the sons and daughters of the Father of Lies.Do not answer their call. Do not create a payment plan of any kind, as these people are generally a last resort to collect on debts too old to take to court. If you make even the smallest payment, however, you will resurrect the debt, and they can then SUE YOU for the original and full amount. Best bet is to either answer once only to record yourself telling them to not call you again, then keep a log of their nonstop attempts to communicate anyway, and sue them for harassment, or, just ignore them completely. I ended up ignoring them completely. I get it. They’re nuts. I have a new phone number, which I’ve basically kept to myself, and they located me within three weeks. It’s downright creepy.
