I've engaged dozens of recruiters over the span of my career, and in my experience, PeerSource exemplifies the paragon of recruiters. My success with the PeerSource team involved a contract-to-hire where I landed the ideal opportunity of my career. In my experience, the PeerSource team embraces a relationship-based approach with unwavering integrity unrivaled by few.Most recruiters I worked with define their business using a requisition-of-the-week model. This transactional model rarely, if ever, enabled an understanding by the recruiter of my profile, which then reduced the accuracy and success of positioning me for opportunities. This mismatch wasted my time and the hiring organization's money and time. The PeerSource team cultivates relationships with the candidate and within the hiring organization. This tireless effort keeps the business and processes running behind the scenes to ensure connection with the hiring organization extends beyond a single person. This enables the recruiter to focus on the candidate’s goals instead of trying to cover all roles for all people across the organization. I encountered too many one-person shops with limited capacity and scant exposure within organization they represented. The PeerSource model strikes the balance of nimble responsiveness with a robustness that delivers. PeerSource also did a stellar job representing my salary and package needs in a fair and consistent manner. I never felt out of line asking for what I thought was fair and rational for the market. Once we agreed on my package expectations, PeerSource never wavered in its representation to the hiring organization, and I never had to reduce my base request throughout the process. With too many other opportunities, I was asked to reduce my expectations well into the placement process to accommodate missteps with the hiring organization. To me, these challenges demonstrated a misunderstanding of skill and experience or a lack of understanding the needs of the hiring organization. Whatever caused the root problem with other opportunities, I never once with PeerSource---not a single time---received that uncomfortable phone call to drop my expectations so I could land the opportunity. PeerSource shines in above board recruiting and business practices without having to advertise this point. With my years of experience as a hiring manager and candidate, I know working in the recruiting and placement business can be a challenge. This was never a concern with the PeerSource Experience. A candidate-to-recruiter engagement model was identified up front where I was asked to inform the PeerSource team of first-contact engagements. In turn, they responded with timely due diligence to ensure the right person in the organization had my name. Without this approach, my resume became another dust-covered piece of paper, and my name was one of many floating around in a candidate database. With the results I have seen, Peer Source will be my first recommendation to other candidates. My final vote of confidence comes from the experience after the placement. Though not required as a contract is no longer in place, the PeerSource team continues the relationship building. This could be to touch base, identify opportunities, introduce candidates, or share updates in the technology field. This confirms for me that PeerSource has mastered the relationship-building approach, which has made a long-lasting impression on me.

PeerSource is a technology recruiting firm. I worked for PeerSource for 11 months. The professional contract I was matched to was the perfect match for my skills. The work was challenging, and afforded me professional growth. My contract was at a highly reputable company with excellent leadership and teams that were wonderful to work with. I will always appreciate my recruiter and the entire team at PeerSource. They work hard to ensure excellent placement and benefits, and they care about their employees who are out in the field doing great work for their clients. The team at Peer Source is by far the best recruiting partners for both the candidates and the customers. They genuinely care about people. While working with them I had the opportunity to build two different IT teams. One in Enterprise Applications and one in a Enterprise PMO. It was important to me that Peer Source care about the candidates as much as they cared about the client side of the business and I saw that many times over. If the employee is happy they will perform better. The team also takes time to get to know both the client and the candidate as a person which meant that they understood what I needed and the type of person who fit well in the organization. They've never failed me or my team with placements.

I was contacted by Peersource to fill a contactual position with a fort 500 company for a Senior IT Program/Project Manager of which I took on the challenge and successfully completed the program. Success has neve felt so sweet after completing this effort especially due to the support and guidance received by the Peersource team.
