Feedback:

I worked for them from 2004-2006. They only value new clients. They always figured current clients would stay no matter what. It's an old mentality from they owned Tax Relief. True, tax pros are reluctant to switch tax programs. But for websites, payroll, etc - it's not as big a deal. Their faulty logic cost the company millions. Worse, when ever the Sales Dep't was doing well, they would change the bonus structure (theu never called it a commission; probably to side step legal issues). Managers being put in Sales hated it and tried to get out as soon as possible. The good sales reps (or Practice Development Consultants) packed up and left as soon as they put some time in and could get a dent offer elsewhere.I'm really shocked they're still in business!

Feedback:

I highly recommend Accountsworld the customer service is subperb. They take time to answers all you questions and call you back to make sure your on the right path. They take the hassle out of managing payroll clients!

Feedback:

Been using AW payroll services for about 9 years and have never had any major issues. Any questions I have are always answered by the support team within the day and always very helpful. Very easy to use and so many options. Highly recommend this company and their services!

Feedback:

Great customer service!

Feedback:

This is a poorly run business. I have nothing positive to say about them. If I could give them zero stars I would. I have tried multiple times over the course of more than a year to unsubscribe from their poorly-prepared newsletter, with no success. I am tired of them filling up my mailbox with junk.

Feedback:

I moved my client processing over to AccountsWorld in 2010 looking for a true cloud-based client collaboration platform. I found a company responsive to my needs providing me a top rate product that is always looking for new features to add to their already robust software. Unlike other software vendors that will sell to anyone with payment in hand, AccountantsWorld only sells to accountants. The system puts the accountant, not the client, in the driver's seat of who runs the engagement. Utilizing their Power Practice platform allows me to provide any level of service needed, from after the fact write-up to full CAS and outsource CFO services.

Feedback:

The firm I work for switched to AccountantsWorld's After The Fact Payroll a couple of years ago. We were looking for a cost effective way to e-file after the fact payroll tax returns as well as W2s and 1099s. While every software has its limitations, we have been able to use After The Fact Payroll for all of our payroll tax clients with little trouble. Customer Service is easiest to get to via email, and they generally get back to us within a few hours. I can see how more complex payroll processing could be a challenge, but it works well for what we need it to do.

Feedback:

I am very happy with write up and After the fact Programs.

Feedback:

I have been a customer or user for 6+ years. The platform and service is comparable to the largest payroll companies at a fraction of the cost.

Feedback:

By and large I find their software useful. That said, there is one major flaw with the AccountantsWorld payroll software (both PayrollRelief and After-the-Fact) that has nearly made me switch to a more fully functional software on more than one occasion. It has no way of dealing with employee withholding for the employees who work in multiple states. For a New England based software company you would think that the need for this would be apparent. To be clear, what I mean is that their software will allow you to withhold for up to two states...but it will withhold on all of the wages earned for both of the states regardless of how much time you put in either state. They have neither an A) entry method for breaking out wages and withholding, nor B) an override method for editing the tax forms themselves to break out the withholding and wages credited to each state. It's not that it's difficult or inefficient to accomplish, it's that the capability is completely non-existent. It can’t be done. This is a GROSS oversight and makes it completely untenable as a service for any firm that needs to deal with multi state withholding issues...like almost all New England firms do. With the states so close to each other in New England, multi-state withholding is common, and it's a horrible handicap to prepare some of your tax forms in the software and some of them outside of the software due to a lack of foresight in the coding. To have to prepare forms separate from the software for any payroll client who has multi state withholding on Roaming Employees is cumbersome and rage inducing, not to mention the added time and lack of efficiency. For a software company that touts "Automation" as its main selling point, the payroll products they put out are a letdown on this level. By and large I like the products fine, however failures and annoyance of this level cause firms to switch software companies regardless of how well their other features work. 3 stars at best...no more.
