I was a math educator for 19 years, looking to start a 2nd career. I started applying in January in 2018 and 2019 and got 2 interviews total. Within 6 weeks of contacting Palmer, I began my new career. Without Palmer, I would still be looking. Their recruiters are GREAT people, and this appears to be the way to break into a new career. When I applied, I actually met with 3 recruiters in 3 different areas. I never would have chosen my current career path but I am loving the change so far. I began as a temp and was hired full-time. It was a such a stress relief to have Palmer helping with my resume, doing all the legwork of finding jobs, and advocating for me once I was chosen for an interview and began as a temp. Like any other job, once I got in, it was up to me to earn my way to a full-time position. But I had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience and would recommend Palmer to anyone looking for a new career path.

Sophia O'Brien helped me find the perfect job for me with great hours, great pay, and great benefits. She helped me prepare for my first day, checked in on me periodically, and even came to my work to help me prep for the interview that got me hired on by the company as opposed to staying a managed resource. Kar Calease came in to my work monthly to have meetings with me to discuss where I was at and my goals for the next month. Kara and Sophia also went above and beyond when I was having an issue to make sure that I was comfortable in my new work environment and I am very thankful for all of their help. They offer great communication and truly care about helping people find the best job for them.

Thanks to the Palmer group I was placed in a contract position with a large company, doing work I love. After five months I am happy to say I have become a FTE. Thank you Palmer for all you did for me. One note: I think you can do better keeping in touch with candidates that are not placed. Once I filled out the application and had a phone screen I did not hear from anyone unless I called in. Keeping candidates informed is important even if nothings changed.

LOVE the Palmer Group! We started working with them for about 1.5 years (or a little more) and couldn’t be happier with the quality of workers given to us. Also the staff at Palmer Group is very friendly and geared to the client needs. Lori Gelhaar and Ryan Gau have been great to us about figuring out our needs and wants, but also to reach out and say hi or see how our business is doing!

I had a bad experience with this company. People in this company are very unprofessional. They consider you based on their imagination. Normally if people have any question, they can call you or email you to ask, but that's not what they do. I will never work with this company!
