I brought my mother to the emergency room here as directed by her doctor who works out of Mount Sinai. The emergency room was so packed that she sat in the hallway on a bed for 19 hours. Then they brought her to a curtain-ed off section where we continue to wait, going on 24 hours. Each nurse has so many patients, I don’t know how they’re still standing. You have your wonderful, attentive nurses and doctors and then you have your not so wonderful nurses and doctors.Cleanliness is definitely not where it should be for a hospital setting but that’s due to how overcrowded it is. The two stars are for one exceptional nurse and doctor who helped me in the ER even though my mother wasn’t their patient.
