Feedback:

Multiple "Best Place to Work" winner in the state of NH and CO. This place is on a rocket ship! One of the fastest growing companies in New England. Fast paced, fun, and results oriented/winning culture. Company cares deeply for our employees and the providers we service.

Feedback:

I have enjoyed my excellent relationship with Medicus over the past 3-4 years. Everyone that I have been involved with has been helpful and reliable.

Feedback:

If you have a good recruiter working with you then it can be rewarding. Some of the recruiters work hard at getting you work but if you have one that doesn’t care and is not that serious about getting you work, it can really suck. Then you are doing all the work and its unclear what they are offering. Also when you go with a locums company, it really matters how much they are charging the hospitals. Medicus might be the most expensive.

Feedback:

Working with Medicus has been enjoyable and a privilege. I have the freedom to do what I enjoy, practice medicine. Medicus handles all logistics including licensing, credentialing, scheduling, and contracts. They really have their act together which makes the physician’s job easier and more efficient, and their compensation has been like clockwork. The Medicus staff sincerely values and respects its physician partners, and frankly, this feels good.

Feedback:

Really enjoy working here so far. It's a place that makes you want to come to work in the morning (good work-life balance). Wonderful team and work place culture. Been here for about 4 months and am very happy with my choice to join the Medicus family.

Feedback:

Great place to work!

Feedback:

I worked as a locum tenens physician for Medicus a number of times at the same institution to which I had to fly each time. Never a complaint from the institution I worked at.Twice on a connecting flight home, the second leg was cancelled at two large airports late at night and there were no other flights home that evening. Medicus had promised that someone would be available 24 hours a day to help me. To make a very long story short, neither time was the licensed travel agency for Medicus available. Nor, was anyone at Medicus able or willing to help me find a place to stay after I was unable to do so on my own, this after the vice-president at Medicus assured me that he would be available for me 24 hours a day and that I should use any means available at any price to do so.. He wasn't. I had no choice but to twice sleep in the airport overnight. The second time, the airline booked me on a flight late in the afternoon and I changed that to an early morning flight so that I could get home at a reasonable time and take medicine that I needed. Medicus refused to pay for the less than $100 flight change. I had to argue with them to pay me as promised because if I had been able to book a hotel, the cost of that and cabs would have easily been at least $200.Plus, Medicus does not pay time and a half for weekday overtime or on the weekend. If you want to work for people who are oriented towards treating you as anything more than a consumable, this is not the place for you. There are other (not many) agencies who will treat you well and pay you properly for your time. Medicus is not one of these.

Feedback:

On the 18th of this month (October 2013) I applied through Monster for a Business Development Executive position. After I applied I received a confirmation and a message that someone would contact me shortly. I also saw a phone number and an e-mail and left a voice mail for the head recruiter, Ashley, letting her know that I e-mailed my resume to her, as well. I never received a return call from her and I left a few more voice mail messages, all courteous (see below). Today Wednesday, I followed up and spoke to another lady who excused Ashley and I asked for and was forwarded to the manager, Jennifer's, voice mail. Jennifer called me back a few minutes ago and asked if I saw the correspondence stating that I would only be considered if I was considered qualified for the position. I explained what I stated above, I only received a confirmation that I would be contacted by a recruiter shortly. She admitted she was unaware of this and would look into it. She then explained that Ashley had over 150 applications to review per week and I explained that this still does not excuse her firm from not following up on its statement that it would quickly contact the candidates. I explained that when I first started my career I worked in Human Resources I had a similar role and always followed up with candidates. I then mentioned that I worked on the automation of a time and attendance system which required I stay past my work schedule and she sarcastically remarked that "Ashley would have a hard time doing that as she has young children." I replied that I would terminate this conversation as her tone was unprofessional and she retorted that mine was and so were my voice mail messages to Ashley which was patently untrue. Jennifer acknowledged that she was unaware of the notification candidates receive that states they will be contacted shortly after the completion of the application process. Her head recruiter never returned my calls and she, personally, was very rude, unprofessional and defensive. This is one agency I would not recommend to anyone who wishes to be treated seriously and with respect.
