I contacted and met with Mike Mauldin several months ago since I knew as a first time business owner I would need help around tax season and with random questions. Called and asked to schedule a meeting, receptionist told me quarterly tax payments were due Jan 31 and I believed her, so we scheduled for Jan 16. Found out they are actually due Jan 15 and when I call to try and get help estimating them, am fired as a client. First time calling to get assistance and am fired. They also didn't file my S corp application correctly earlier this year, so I won't be eligible for that. No CPA is going to be taking new clients this time of year, so I am essentially F****ED. Thanks, Mike.

We switched to Mike after using the same accountant for 12 years. I wish we'd done it years earlier. He refiled last years' taxes and we were able to get an extra $1400 refund. He saved me $8000 in taxes by making one simple change in the way we were filing. Not only is he a kind soul, he's crazy smart and I couldn't recommend him enough. If you're thinking about changing - DO IT NOW! You will not regret it. He never missed a beat even though we'd been with someone else for so long and he made the process easy - and best of all - he saved us tons of money!
