John has been doing our taxes since the beginning of our tax activities in the State of Georgia in 1992; his positive and solution driven demeanor is the reason that my wife and I continue to have a relationship with his business. His office staff is awesome!

John and his team are amazing!! They file both my personal and business taxes for the last 4 years. During tax season - Yes, please be prepared to wait! It’s well worth it.. when you are rest assured preparation is keen and accurate.Everyone is friendly ... and they serve a diverse clientele.

Was impressed until I needed clarification on an issue with the Georgia Department of Revenue. John is a hard working man that really does seem to care about each and every one of his clients. The down side to this is that he is a small shop and he takes on so many clients that he gets flooded around tax time to the point that things fall through the cracks. I emailed 3 times and called in 4 times regarding an issue with the Georgia Department of Revenue where they had given me 30 days to reply to the issue. I had tried to resolve the issue on my own, but after spending several hours and multiple days on the phone with them, they suggested I call a CPA or tax professional for assistance. I tried contacting John and his team and was told I would receive a call back, but never did. My issue was not because of anything that John did incorrectly, but rather an issue on the GA DOR side, however not receiving a call back or reply to any of my emails left me feeling very discouraged about my choice of CPAs. I have paid about 3x of what I would normally pay at a CPA and expected at least a call back or a reply to an email when I had an issue. I ended up having to spend 16 hours on the phone with the state and take off of work to resolve this issue alone. I will be seeking out professional assistance elsewhere and would not recommend this firm because when you have issues, they very well might not be there to help you. This is not the kind of service I expect from a professional. The other downside is that appointments are not firm. I have been to this office twice. The first time my appointment was at the end of my working day, so it wasn't a huge issue to wait 2 hours past my scheduled appointment. The second appointment was during the middle of my working day, so having to wait an additional hour for assistance and then 30 minutes after I was done to check out was not appreciated. On the plus side, John is a very caring man and very good at what he does. When I set down with him originally, we determined what quarterly payments I would need to make, and he came within a few dollars for federal and state of being accurate. He's great to work with and his staff is friendly. It's really hard to get over the fact that I couldn't get a return call when needed, his appointments aren't close to accurate and that his prices are significantly higher than other CPA's I've worked with in the past, especially for simple 1099 taxes.

Been going to John for years and he knows his craft. I have never had to worry if my taxes are done right. Yes you may wait a little while but everyone is very friendly and actually care. Definitely do yourself a favor and book early!

I can’t even believe it. Made an appt as a first time client and was told 4pm on a Monday. One hour before my appt they called to tell me I wouldn’t be seen until at least 3 hours late. After explaining I can’t do that because I have to get back to work for this evening, it was explained to me that “that’s just the way it works, didn’t anybody tell you?”....what I didn’t tell the lady on the phone was that not only didnt anybody tell me, but SHE was the one who made the appt(and didn’t “tell” me)!! If you aren’t able to keep an honor your appts, it kinda negates the whole “make an appt” thing. The receptionist was rather snippy and borderline rude.......so we are going elsewhere. They just lost a first-time potential client. They WOULD have been our place.......but not now. Customer service is EVERYTHING.Save your frustration and letdown - go elsewhere.
