Feedback:

I got let go two months into my assignment with no explaination; awful service

Feedback:

I applied online to a nurse position in which I was qualified for and met all requirements for. After week one of no returned phone call, or email response, I decided to call them back and ask about my status. I spoke with Rachel and she asked me for my name and phone number and stated she would get back with me. Week two, I still did not hear anything from Rachel, therefore I decided to call again and asked to speak with Chiquita Bell. Rachel took my name and number, stating for a second time, that someone will get back with me. Now....several friends of mine, who had LESS experience than me, applied for the same position and were set up with interviews with the correctional facility that need nurses. I thought by being a Veteran of the Armed Forces, having met the qualifications, that at least I would be considered like my friends were....I was wrong. After hearing the great news from my friends about their advancement, I called again.....week three....to ask about my status, I was met with the same line, but this time....very rude and unprofessional. Then this morning, 05/08/2019, I got a call from Rachel stating that I do not meet their requirements. Stay away from this company! They only use the VA name, they are NOT for Veterans, nor do they consider them! Requirements:Valid LVN license with the state of California.Valid IV/Blood Withdrawal Certification.Current BLS/CPR card.Current Driver License.2 years paid experience in a mid-sized hospital, correctional facility, or rehabilitation center.Experience dispensing large quantities of medication.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Have verifiable past employment references.Must provide proof of immunizations including TB.Majority of past experience should not come from Home Health.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. No felonies, misdemeanors, DUIs, etc.Willing to wait 4-6 weeks to pass background check.

Feedback:

I worked for them in 2012 and they were very professional. No complains.

Feedback:

For the last 7 years I have been working for JM Staffing, I am a very happy employee who is bless to have a job opportunity thru this agency. Chiquita, Pamela, Mike and Rachel have been good to me.

Feedback:

Work with JM on various assignments at SB County Elections Office for almost two years, never had any major issues. If hours or payroll problems occurred they were fixed quickly. The office has always been fairly professional and competent with every interaction I have had.

Feedback:

I applied for an IT position and they declined me because I didn’t have enough experience(18 months). Which is ridiculous because what kind of temp. agency needs more than two years experience for an ENTRY LEVEL position? Instead they recommended me for another position that had better pay A WEEK LATER. I was being led on by the whole staffing team the week prior of being offered a different position. “We’ll call you back for confirmation.” “Let me see what we have for you. Let me call you back” etc. I had the pleasure of speaking with Chiquita, Mike, and Michael. The office is very small and the team is too. I went in for an interview, after I uploaded all my paperwork into their website. I was asked about 3 times to upload my paperwork. I had to tell them every time that i already did-slowing down my job search. So when Chiquita finally offered me a completely different job than what I was looking for, I of course had some questions. Well she wasn’t having it, she had an attitude with me and passive aggressively told me to accept the job without question. I told her I had a job interview some where else and that’s when she just told me that “she’ll pass and goodbye”. Chiquita didnt work with me or my needs like a true JOB RECRUITER is supposed to.All-in-all please stay away from this company. They will make you waste your time and they most likely won’t even give you a position that you are looking for. Instead they will give you a position they need you to fill in.STAY AWAY!!!

Feedback:

This company is unethical and unprofessional, period. Here is the story, you be the judge. I sent my resume to this company, UNKNOWINGLY, because they keep there name hidden. (Check there listings on job search engines, there's nothing. They go by a different name. Should of raised a red flag, but I was in dire need of a job driving 200 miles to the next major metropolitan city every other week where the jobs are plentiful. I was contacted on a Fri morning to do a virtual interview, which was kinda neat I'll admit. After the interview (lasted 15min) I was sent between 20-30 pages for the actual application. My printer went out of ink, so I payed for the copies, no biggie when you think you might have a job... The recruiter, Isabella whom contacted me regarding the position said I MIGHT start the following Monday, but she was not absolutely certain. After 2hrs of printing and signing, I sent them immediately back. I didn't hear from this recruiter until Monday, asking me to come into work. I was excited and escatic to hear back, but I was interview on that Monday morning 200 miles away as usual due to the fact I did not get the "Ok" to begin on Monday. I raced home as fast as I could to be prepared. During the virtual interview I had expressed there were only 2 days I could not work due to Drs appts. The next thing I know, after driving 200 miles back and leaving the original interview I had to come to this new job I was excited about, I received an email stating they didn't need me anymore... I was beside myself and shocked. I called to see what exactly happened, especially after all the time I put into the 2 sets of forms needed to be printed out which was a grand total of 55 pages. (Go to your local printing shop and see how much it costs, not cheap.) When I called, I was bummed but nothing over the top. I just wanted to figure out what happened in a 24hr span. I received an extremely obtuse answer and incredibly obscure. I then hung up with the recruiter. I called back a short time after to obtain the company information. They completely refused, cursed , and hung up. I called a couple times so I could speak to a President and/or CEO, but someone by the name of "Pam" answered. She didn't identify her position. I expressed I was deeply confused and concerned about the situation, including that the company that refused to give me ANY informational, NOW has by Driver's license number and Social Security...Then this women, whom identified herself as "Pam" then threatened to call the police. At that point I did as well, along with the Better Business Bureau and the Labor Board. If you have ANY COMMON SENSE , stay away from this company and it's affiliates.

Feedback:

I've done a weekend project and worked at a location for 3 months. I personally never had problems with being paid, returning emails or any rudeness. Everyone I've ever spoken to has been kind, helpful and returned emails/calls in a timely manner. I look forward to working with this agency again.

Feedback:

I made the mistake of allowing Chiquita to talk me into staying at my assignment when I was very clear it was not going to work out within the first few weeks. She requested that I stay until they found a replacement which I thought would be "professional" of me. I also understood it from the business standpoint of it, as long as they have placement for their contracts, they get paid. This is what I get for being understanding.About 3 weeks later I contacted Chiquita asking had she found me a replacement as of yet, she mentioned no. I personally believe she was not looking hard enough. A week later, the assignment released me which was perfectly fine when I was well aware a month prior things were not ideal on either parts. I was told Chiquita would call me in reference to next steps of finding another assignment. She did not for almost 4 months. I reached out to her several times while speaking to other reps in the office such as Pam. When I finally got the chance to talk to Chiquita she insisted that I put that I had been fired on my resume before they send it to another employer. I told her I would not be doing so under the circumstances that I had made it clear that the position was not a fit for me in the beginning and per her request kept me in the position until she found a replacement. She then started to make subliminal comments about my work ethic as if it had ever been issue previously which it had not. I had just moved back to California and was looking for something temporary until I found something permanent. She was very unprofessional but I chose to leave it alone. If you can, find another agency to represent you in your job hunt.

Feedback:

This company does not return callsor e-mails unless you are needed for one of their job. They also are constantly paying people late, and get payroll hours wrong. For a professionally ran women's business, they are not doing a very good job.
