Very unprofessional, only the joining team is prompt and effective, beyond that you will just have to chase them with emails and phone calls to get your work done. A few minutes task can take forever and you need to find the solution tell them and still no guarantee. Unreliable.

You're better off doing your own accounts than using ICS. They take your monthly payments and then do your accounts last minute and completely mess up your accounts. Use anyone but them. Terrible! Better off saving your money and going elsewhere. And then after speaking to HMRC you realise how incompetent they are

Like many people seem to be saying, they are not proactive in offering advice, any suggestions come from me after researching the internet, I've hardly had a VAT return that was correct 1st time; the only thing they get correct is to take their monthly fee of £125 +VAT out of my business bank account every month. In all my life, this is the company that has given me the least and taken the most.

They missed paying things on time so i left in 2018 and now a year on I still get letters from HMRC about missed PAYE payments when I was with them! My new accountants is still trying to fix their errors. I assure you these negative reviews aren't made up, I'm a victim of ICS poor accountability and I have the emails and letters from ICS and HMRC to prove it. Please don't give yourself the stress and sign up with ICS as a LTD.

ICS has made things a lot easier for me to get into contracting. They registered my company and got me VAT certified for free. ICS's accounting services comes at a very competitive rate that includes Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Employers Liability insurance. The included FreeAgent subscription is very handy too.
