Worst tax experience ever! Very uninformative and unprofessional. I didnt receive an email of acceptance until two weeks after filing. No one notified me of my taxes being rejected 3 times...and then they took it upon themselves to mail my return without my consent, adding an additional 6 to 8 weeks to the process. When I called to question the rejections, Mona the administrator seemed to have an unpleasant attitude as if I was bothering her. I was told I was rejected due to my son's social security number which was odd because I never had any issues with the years prior. This immediately made me go back to read the fine print of the paperwork in detail. I then noticed a flaw in my son's name, which they swore wasn't the issue. Also, they checked the wrong account type of my direct deposit and made up my occupation as "oilfield" when I clearly made them aware of me being a contractor for the U.S Army in Afghanistan. Now I know the latter won't effect my refund, but you have to admit still pretty unprofessional in my opinion. What happened to confirmation before submission? Giving them one star is being too generous.

Top choice for my line of work. I was recommended to Chasity when I went from being a regular oil company employee to an oilfield consultant, having never worked this way I was clueless about the process of operating this type of business and other nonsense regarding taxes etc...Chasity and her team have been VERY patient with me throughout this process, they have helped immensely with my first Business tax return!! If I've ever needed time to discuss things she has been very accommodating, knowledgeable and straight talking, no thesaurus needed, (well maybe once, but that says more about me than her!?!) . None of them have laughed (at least not outwardly) in response to my avalanche of "here's a stupid question for you" questions and even though at first I felt like a kid going to see the principle, Chasity has assured me (countless times) "It's YOUR money Paul" which made me feel top notch. Talking with Chasity I realize how much I do not know about this tax thing and when we are done talking I feel that little bit smarter! Great job from an excellent team, very accommodating and thorough with their no-nonsense human approach to doing business with humans. (Even Scottish one's) 10/10 !!!

I have been a client of Hooks and Associates for some time. Last year the data input was running behind on a monthly basis. When it got into tax season it was as far behind as 3 months. Unable to manage or lead my company becuase of lack of financial data, I said something to Chasity several times and was told basically if was not their fault. They never filed our returns for 2017 leaving us in major bind. I found a document from their logmein account that stated over 4,000 transactions were not uploaded.
