Not surprising that Hays currently has 1.8 star rating - I dare this is very generous considering their lack of candidate management and lack of professionalism. Another agency adding to the gamot of 'candidate churners', where you are a number - and at times are scolded by consultants for touching base. Candidates should be aware that it appears Hays are only solely focused on meeting sales targets and churning through the process (with little to no customer service). Be aware that other recruitment agencies are also offered the same government roles as Hays (as they are put to a panel of many agencies - so each agency submits candidates for the same role) - I'm saying this as you should not feel that Hays is any thing special or have exclusivity over clients. And if there is some unique clients, their level of service explains why some other agencies, are taking away Hays' business, day by day. Hot tip - Save your time, better off cutting out recruiters and cold call companies yourself - and you'll get better pay and not have to deal with the loads of brash British working holiday recruiters, who just sign you up (and come in to register) and you never hear from them again - pretty much your candidate profile gets lost in the dark abyss of neglect.
