I am currently in the Guthrie job corps and its terrible. Illegal drugs all over campus, bad food for lunch, bad lunch servers, bad teachers and no staff actually really helps. Job corps is not for 16-17 year old minors. I have completed the program at the age of 17 and cant do anything but work fast food or retail. They don't give you your diploma until a month or two after you graduate and you don't even start trade or high school until you've been on campus for 2 months. The program is mainly to make money and they will hold as much money back from you as possible. They also take out money from your checks so you really don't even get $25 every 2 weeks, you get $23 and if you leave for the weekend they deduct for traveling fee. This place isn't what people think. Its changed dramatically since i first came which was on June 24th of 2018. I am just telling the truth about the program so you don't make the same mistake as a minor. I don't know to much about other job corps nut Guthrie is not it. AT ALL.
