Client Review on Discovery Institute

i am a former client who recently completed the ACT program. i just wanted to give a shout out to the entire act team from the director, Tracy to my counselor Stacie and everyone in between! (kayla and rob). Everyone in ACT was extremely supportive and genuinely cared about not only the well being of myself, but all the clients in act. it is frustrating being in a program that is controlled by the state, however the drive and determination by the counselors to keep me as long as they possibly could made it all the better. the only negative i have is I often felt that ACT was looked down upon within DIAD by STS (the private insurance program). we were often referred to as the “state clients” and “criminals”, but i can say the entire ACT team and other employees at DIAD never made act or me feel that way. ACT team treated me with respect, and most importantly i felt like a human being again. THANK YOU discovery for saving my life. especially you STACIE, i can never thank her or ACT team enough...
