We've been with Robert for years and remain very happy with his services. He always answers questions immediately and has given us good advice about how to keep our taxes down. I noticed a reviewer who said that things changed once Concierge Tax Services entered their corporate offices. I actually wondered if that would happen myself, but that has not been my experience at all. We were and are happy with the service he provides.

I couldn't disagree more with the review from Ellen. Robert has been attentive to my needs and I'm not a "big customer." He responds quickly to calls and emails and has always given us great service. We've been using him for 3 years and will continue to!

I was recommended to Robert my daughter. It was a great recommendation and after 2 years of a very professional and personal relationship, I recommend Robert and his folks as well. Moreover, he works well with our finance guy. Being a customer who always has tax type questions can be frustrating. Do I call the finance guy or the tax guy? Now that both know each other, questions are easily addressed.

This used to be a great office when they were in downtown Shelton. Now that they moved to the corporate towers, they've gotten too big too fast and sadly, the owner cannot even handle it and had to take a vacation when tax season was over due to health issues. We always took our taxes to him and were pleased. Our measly $350 payment each year isn't enough for them anymore now that they have big accounts they take on. I get it, it's a business and he's all about the money. But the service we received this year was poor and they didn't follow up on 2 questions we had, didn't finish what we asked them to do, didn't return our phone calls, and we ended up asking for our files back. Doesn't matter that they asked us to find another accountant because we planned on this being our last interaction with them anyway. If you are an individual who wants their taxes done, I'd go somewhere else. They definitely cater to the big guys.

My husband and I have been working with Robert for a couple of years now and we are beyond pleased. There are a lot of complicated parts to the returns for our business, and yet Robert always makes everything seem so simple for us. He works with us not just at tax time, but all throughout the year so that we never have any surprises come April. We value being able to plan accurately for the coming year, and we also appreciate the fact that whenever we have a question, he gets it answered for us with incredible efficiency. Robert is also someone who gives back to the community and is an all-around good person--he is incredibly easy to work with. In short, working with Concierge Tax Services in Shelton is how working with an accountant should be.

I recently ventured into my own business and did so with ZERO accounting knowledge. My wife who owns a photography studio has been using Concierge Tax Services for 2 years and was referred by numerous members in her CT photographers network. Robert educated me on my options, provided links to state & federal documents, walked me through creating and LLC, tax estimation/compliance, establishing an S-corp 7 payroll and consulted me on numerous other hypotheticals. Trust is important. My sister in-law in Westport was charged $1000+ to file for her LLC. Robert provided me the link to the states online form and directed me to mail my $150 check to them... done.I fully trust him to manage my personal and business finances and his team is thorough, very friendly/personable and above all... responsive. More than reasonable rates & great service make using Concierge a no-brainer for me.
