Feedback:

Honest, realistic, & hard working paralegals

Feedback:

Been Kirk Botner has been my families attorney for over a decade. Very friendly employees, knowledgeable.

Feedback:

Kirk represented our family against an overzealous slumlord, illegally renting and harassing their tenants. Of course, we got the results we wanted. WV isn't a tenant friendly state, as a result it attracts more than it's share of low margin landlords. Make sure you retain Mr. Bottner. He's well versed, level headed, prompt and attentive. He walked us through each scenario then delivered on the best. Thanks, Kirk! You saved us a lot of hassle.

Feedback:

Mr. Bottner, and especially his paralegal, Amanda, provided me with superb legal representation in a recent family matter. I could not be happier with the service they provided. In addition, many years ago, Mr. Bottner provided me with superb legal representation in the face of 2 unjust misdemeanor accusations against me, and, again, I could not be happier with the services provided. I would recommend Mr. Bottner as a legal representative to anyone without hesitation.

Feedback:

My husband and I had an initial consult via phone call this afternoon. We paid $250 and we had a good conversation with Mr Bottner; however, we were scheduled for 2pm and as it turned out, Mr Botner also had a 3pm appt. Because we were short on time, Mr Bottner said he would have his staff send a contract and we could put him on retainer at that point. My husband received a call shortly after from a staff member who asked him if he would be paying the entire $2500 today to which he asked what other options were available. His question seemed to offend the staff member who told him that his options were whatever Mr Bottner had explained to him. My husband stated that Mr. Bottner had not had time to go over things, so the staff member gave him the option of paying half today and making monthly payments for the rest. My husband asked a few questions such as would there be interest on the payments if he went with that option and how may payments/how much for each payment. The answer to every question was "I don't know". Suddenly the staff member hung up. When my husband called back, the staff member said his only option other than paying in full today was to pay half now and half in two weeks. She also said she could not send him anything paperwork/contract wise until he paid half today, and that she was busy and Mr Bottner should have explained this to him. My husband reminded her that Mr. Bottner had not had time at which point the staff member began raising her voice to the point that my husband held the phone away from his ear. He told the staff member to let Mr Bottner know that He wasn't able to agree to terms without knowing said terms and that he wasn't able to give his business to someone who allowed him as a client to be treated in such a way. If Mr Bottner reads this and your calls are recorded, I'm begging you to listen to the phone call. We understand that no one wants to be working on a Friday afternoon, or that maybe the staff member was having a bad day, but we are shocked at not only the fact that the staff does not know any answers but also that we could be treated so horribly by someone we were choosing to rely on.

Feedback:

Great representation!

Feedback:

Mr. Bottner attempted to represent my daughter in her divorce and custody case. Initial consultation paid...retainer paid....she could never get anyone to return her call if she had questions. However, if there was a new bill for expenses she would receive call after call from his office requesting payment. On the day of her final hearing we arrived to court to find that Mr Bottner had excused himself from representing her "due to communication issues". We would have better off with a random court appointed attorney.

Feedback:

Mr. Bottner represented me for a case he was excellent. Very intelligent and professional i would highly recommend him to anyone i would defenitely use him again!! Great man for our community !!!

Feedback:

Have been with this attorney working on my late mother's case for a little over a year. Right now I have to commend this office and say that they are a CLASS ACT. Espically Mrs KAREN Johnson. Not only has she been a shoulder to cry on that showed the GREATEST level of compassion and empathy to my brother and I but, she also is detail oriented and bust her butt to fulfill every single thing she says she'll do . Every call, email, or question I have ask has been taken care of the fullest with then taking their time to explain . I highly recommend if you , a friend, or loved one has been in a car accident to call this attorney. There's no beating around the bush nor promises made. He has a straight up approach and to me thats all I need in an attorney. Kudos!!!!
