Overall Feedback:
By far the worst company I have ever worked for. They pay 2 dollars less than average Home health aide Hiring agency in Boston. The biggest critique against them is their lack of organization in terms of scheduling. Often times I would show up for a shift and another nurse is also showing up to the clients home. leaving the employees to contact the company to figure out who works and who has to take public transit back home. Another example of lack of organization is their payroll. Their is a lack of good communication as no one speaks english that is understandable. Im an immigrantt myself and empathise But my paycheck was late often and always needed correction. Finally, the culture of the work place is not your typical home health aide or cna hiring agency culture. They have alot of hours for little pay and understaffed. Most of the clients I have met with always complain about the quality of service from company and most aides. People see how the office employees act and think it is a green light to go to clients home and simply sit down on their phones the entire shift completly ignoring the geriatric ill client. One client is always screaming and in state of panic and nervousness because he/she doesnt know who is working with them and if that person is going to care. I would show up for a shift with him/her and and I would walk in on him/her screaming at top of lungs. Then informs me that the previous HHA would not acknowledge him/her. Although having a manager be unnecessarily rude and one who is egotistical or domineering is common for most service jobs. It hasn't been my experience at all with HHA' agencies. Most offices attempt to display/demonstrate the kind of interaction they want their aides/nurses to be like with clients by being really nice, polite, empathtic, selfless, and proactively working as a team. This place definitly lacks all of that. If you are looking to get a quick job then this is the place for you. If youre looking for a stress free, enjoyable, rewarding, and organized job then I suggest going to the many great Healthcare hiring agencies in Boston.
