I have experience with Ahola Payroll that dates back 25 years. We have always had a good working relationship with all of our contacts at Ahola.We have two companies with construction workers working in many municipalities each pay period. Ahola's payroll software is second to none. It makes multi-jurisdictional payroll processing go fast with total accuracy. They have always paid our taxes on time. Customer service has been exceptional even when we need to add new worked-in cities for the current day's payroll processing. I highly recommend the services of the Ahola Corporation.

I wish the company I work for did not use Ahola as their online payroll service. EVERY time I go to print off pay stubs it is a long winded INCREDIBLY Frustrating process! The website is not user-friendly at all and is annoying because you’re constantly being re-directed somewhere or being asked about some dumbass demo. You have to verify your identity 10 different times and have computers and devices verified. And then after getting into the portal is not straightforward as to where to find paystub‘s. I hate everything about it!Anytime I have to do anything with this company I dread it, and I know it is going to waste a lot of my precious time. User-friendly systems are evaluated by the ease of getting from point A to point B in the least amount of clicks, I challenge you to ask a family member who does not have any prior familiarity with the interface and website to login and it get to your paystub‘s. Then watch them struggle through these annoying pages, you will see how frustrated they will get.

I have worked with several payroll processing companies over the years and Ahola is one of the better ones. One of the areas that they excel in is their report writer. It is the top of the class. Maybe the best I have used. Almost any report I generated and/or customized looked like an official report directly from Ahola. While they are more suited to small company payrolls, they still can handle larger payrolls. Ours normally runs over 90 checks per pay. But what really impressed me the most was how the payroll was handled before I became involved in the process. This falls into another area where they excel. The facility is run by an order of nuns and they were in between Payroll/HR person. To help out, Ahola actually sent someone out to the facility every two weeks to help process the payroll until I became involved. Above and beyond is typical with Ahola. I never had an issue that they could not resolve, whether it be a tax issue or a regular payroll issue. I have even called before hand to get their opinion on how to handle a problem check. Always pleasant and helpful. If you are looking for a payroll company, then it is well worth your time to give them a call.
