What has happened to the Rex emergency room?!? Thank goodness I have not been here in years - I now go to Wake Med North when I can but tonight I was worried about a DVT in my leg and Wake North did not have a Doppler on the weekends so I called Rex and they have one.I’ve sat in the ER now for an hour and 15 minutes. It’s filthy. Food all over the floor. People throwing up in the main waiting room into bags and then the people working at the reception desk telling the family of the guy throwing up to just dump his bags in the open trash can by the reception desk. Those bags have been sitting in that trash can for an hour and nobody cares. No sign of a custodian anywhere.It’s so sad. Rex has invested so much money to build their campus up but the ER is completely neglected.
