The people are great, kind and very helpful, which is very much needed after going through a layoff. I also benefited quite a bit from the Worker Retraining program. The phone system is pretty rough, but I don't believe it is connected to Worksource.

I was denied unemployment. I wanted to know if Work Source services were available to me if I was not receiving unemployment and if so, could I walk in for assistance or did I need to get an appt. somehow. After pushing button after butron trying to get a LIVE person versus wasting time and gas driving all the way to their office . . . I gave up.What happened to customer service? Treating people like . . . well . . . people?

Absolutely terrible. I went to go get my GED. "We'll call you with updates." Four months later, I'm going there physically, get absolutely no service. This is very stupid. Not worth my time.

I had one good interaction and one terrible one. I went in for help only to be turned away at the door. I asked how they would be able to help me in getting a job, I was told they wouldn't help me at all unless I was on foodstamps. At a later time I went in for specific help on my resume, and was blown away with the lady that helped me.

This place is the worst. It tells you to call a number if there are discrepancies in your information. I call the AUTOMATED number and cannot get a hold of anyone. I send multiple emails, even Facebook telling them that I cannot reach anyone and all I am told is to call the number that I literally told them in my previous contact that I cannot get a hold of anyone.

While the people are helpful the problem for me is you go in and sit down at a computer and fill out applications. There is no people informing or helping you to get hired. I can be at home and fill out applications and not at a place that I thought would help me get hired.
