Bunch of B.S and they threaten you if you miss your appointment. Not everyone can come in 5 days a week for 40 hours! I understand that's the rules but, there should be some sort of flexibility for people who have other obligations. Now, my case is screwed up with DCF. I also felt like.i was being judged because, i have mental health issues. As far as the school training, the don't have much to choose from either, so it's not much of a help when it comes to career training.

Dorothy was very helpful in assisting me with revising my resume. The Resume Workshop was very useful and helpful in learning about what employers are looking for. The staff overall seemed very helpful with providing assistance with applying for unemployment benefits.

They did let me use the fax machine to fax my mileage to the school board for home and hospital based ESE program (school still hasn't paid me for mileage.. 11 months later.. Broward County public school system) and to fax some papers to food stamp program for my son, but I find it so crowded for computer resource room most of the time, to me, it's mostly a waste of time to even stop in there. Years ago I went through the PPN program and it helped me get a great job but that was in 1997... since then none of the programs has helped me in any way to get work. I did take some computer classes through a grant program which was a nice introductory program but I didn't feel prepared enough to try actually working in an office with just introductory classes through PC Professor, especially as an older worker. I ended up taking a nurses aide program on my own and that got me some work. As an older worker, it's a whole different ballgame.

I WILL NEVER apply for the cash assistance again.. i never got my clothing voucher, i got a job had it for 6 months!! smh. now they sanction me. i was fine till i applied for cash.. and had to be in the program here.. the whole time i was uncomfortable, the program have so many FLAWS what a waste of time! how its set up.. i just wanted cash assistance for 2 months..my goodness. now im sanction for up to 6 months?? wow :(

A BUNCH OF LAIRS! Promised me support services if I followed the program which I did. They made me go into their offices 4x at times when they knew I had to work and each time didn't provide what they promised until my case was closed. The 1st time I went they told me the lady wasn't there. The 2nd time they canceled the appointment as I was parking! The 3rd time they only gave me a little even though they knew I was coming in. The last appointment they scheduled on the 30th and when I was sick and tried to reschedule they said the case is closed. They're rude, sloppy, and very unorganized. not worth going to.

Mrs. Carter, Ms. Valerie, Mr. G, Ms West, Ms. Ridriguez and Ms. Sanders helped me tremendously in getting the desperately needed help..You can tell they are not just there for a paycheck but truly enjoy what they do by helping people. Horrible staff they need to adjust their attitudes just a waste of time to go here save yourself the trouble and skip this place
