It never ceases to amaze me how some people think they know more than the pros with years of training and experience, yet they cannot prepare their own tax return. If they know so much, why don't they prepare their own? Part of the problem is many people read information on the IRS website, or another source, then stop reading when they get the answer they think they want. The correct answer only comes after fully researching the subject.As a former, now retired, associate of Witmer Wood Tax I can say that WWTC does not charge in advance, and will not complete a return without complete and accurate information. A professional will only sign a tax return that he or she knows is complete and accurate.
