Client Review on Viking Collection Service, Inc.

Feedback:

Was t-boned in Hawaii by another Avis rental car driven by a Japanese man. Turned in the card for the police report and insurance info at the time of the accident. Came home and received a demand for payment of almost $2500, called Viking and gave my insurance info again and asked them to please deal with them. Started getting collection calls from them all the time and each time directed them to the insurance company each time. Gave them the claim number and both my agent's and the adjuster's phone numbers and asked again that they quit harrassing me about it. Finally, got a rude call from an agent and told her (not so nicely) to deal with the insurance company and asked why they are bothering me instead of the guy who was at fault. A week later, I got a letter that they were going to put this on my credit report. Called them and they finally looked at the notes where my insurance adjuster had been in CONSTANT CONTACT with them and was waiting for information from them to pay the claim. The claim was paid and I will never rent a car from Avis or any of their affiliates.
