I Joined Urooj in July, 2010 on OPT. Urooj Promised me to pay $40 an hour which he paid until they file my H1B visa. While filing H1B visa Urooj asked to sign Employment agreement with a prevailing wage of $55K. From Dec 2012 Urooj started paying me on salary basis of 55K($3200/month). Rest of the money they paid me as quarterly bonus. I got bonus only until June2013.Suddenly from Sep 2013 they stopped paying me my own money which they call bonus except LCA Salary. When i demanded my own money, Urooj filed Police complaint against me for threatening and demanding money and stated in police complaint that he don't owe me any money. He paid me all the salary according to my LCA and H1B visa.For more than one year I sent them email and tried to reach over the phone but they never called back and replied to my emails. When I went to Rutherford office to meet him there was no one, it was just a mailing address and office rental space which they pay for meetings. When i went to North Bergen office across river road they don't let me enter the office and threatened to call the cops and tried to put me in trespassing charge.Then Urooj filed criminal case against me for demanding money and threatening for his life. For that I have to spend almost $2000 for attorney fee and take some 5 days off for court proceedings and i have drive 60 miles to attend court. I suffered huge emotional and financial difficulties in those days because of joining urooj.In September 2014 I filed my claim with Department of Labor, My claim amount was for 35K. I was able to recover only 10K due to signing his prevailing wage Employer agreement of 55K. On OPT Urooj didn't pay me 10,240K and on LCA I was not able to claim any money because of signing 55K Employment agreement. Urooj told court that he paid what he has promised according to my LCA application and Employment Agreement.
