Feedback:

I have had this accounting firm as my business and personal accountants. I am a former office manager and have had many experiences with other accounting firms, but Thorsen, Breidinger & Novak, PA is by far, one of the best accounting firms I have done business with. They have ALWAYS gone out of the way to give me and my business partner the best product & service. By Penny's dad - Dennis S.

Feedback:

Costs have gone every year! Business hours not on website?! Info upon calling only gives Monday thru Friday, have to call to find out if they are open for drop off or pick up or anything else on Saturdays during tax time, frustrating.

Feedback:

One of our favorite vendors at our company. When working with this team you feel like you have someone on your side with the knowledge and commitment they have for you.

Feedback:

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This accounting firm came recommended to me by a financial advisor and I wanted to go somewhere local instead of a big box chain. I'd recently started at seminary, so my taxes were more complicated and I was grateful for the help. Four years later, I get a notification from MN Revenue that my property taxes were incorrect and that I owed a substantial amount of money. I called Thorsen, Breidinger, and Novak, and they told me to fax in the letter that I had received. I did. When I e-maile Jay Breidinger to ask if he'd received the fax, he said he had and he would be in contact within the week. No response. A week before the deadline, I e-mailed again, asking if things were taken care of. No response. Two months after the initial letter, I get a letter from MN Revenue threatening to go to collections. I call Jay Breidinger and he tells me that a scholarship wasn't added into the amount and, yes, I did owe that money. I asked if he was the one who prepared and filed the documents. He said he was. He took absolutely no responsibility for his mistake. He told me he would be in touch after April 15th to explain to me what had happened. No response. A month later, I call him. Twice. He says they're willing to pay the interest. I ask for a refund of the money that I paid to prepare the taxes, not only because they were prepared incorrectly but because of the appalling lack of professionalism and common courtesy. I get a check for $18.17. Also, no response to my e-mails. Bottom line, go with someone who you can trust. Go with someone who knows tax laws, especially for students. Don't go with this firm.
