I went to see him instead of H & R Block. They are expensive. I just bought a house and other different things from the previous year. Block asks about everything, in case you don't know what's deductible. He asked NOTHING. He told me I would get back $1.00 from federal, after receiving $2,000 - $4,000 in all previous returns. He gave no help, no information on what was deductible. Maybe because I'm a single woman, don't know. Going back to H&R Block.After going to H&R Block, I found my federal refund is over $5000,00, instead of the $1.00 That Mr Allen came up with. They found many deductions, such as widows deductions and both of my kids.When I notified Mr. Allen, he blamed me for not disclosing this information. I didn't even know about these deductions! He expected me to know the tax laws and what to tell him. It was a bad experience. Block told me he also messed up my 2016 taxes. He didn't apologize or offer to amend his mistakes.
