Feedback:

Nice new scan yourself check out lanes with cordless guns. This store always seems to have what I need in stock. Roxbury fails me all the time. App says in stock I go there and is out. I've learned to just go to this dover store from now on.

I went to the Dover store today to pickup an order placed online. Chris Baylor (sp?) from the Customer Service team stopped what he was doing to pull my order even though I arrived ahead of the two hour window. Chris is a tremendous asset to Home Depot. He made my visit today quick and fun and I learned a little about comparative history along the way. He even helped bring the items to my car. Five star service from Chris. Keep going above and beyond and you'll go places.

Feedback:

I went there to get propane for the gas grill. Derek was outside, took my empty cannister said he would be outside to help me when I paid. I went back out after a few minutes and he was there, took my old cannister, stored it and got me a new one. He was very friendly and courteous. Thanks Derek!!!!!! Keep up the good work.

Truck Driver - Relatively tight with all the overflow but what can you do about that, it’s a busy store so they need a lot of product. Bathrooms are clean and the staff are friendly.

Feedback:

I have had 2 recent situations that have tainted my view of the Dover NJ Home Depot store. First, I placed an order for a storm door in their windows & doors department. The sales rep fully understood the order and timeline for this project. The entire order was delayed with poor / no communication, and we have had numerous calls with the manager to discuss. What we were originally told is far from what actually happened. We are still trying to get everything straightened out. Total thumbs down 👎 to Home Depot and their contracted installers. Yesterday I was in the same store and the cashier asked if I wanted to save $25 by opening an HD credit card. I told her that I already have an HD credit card. She said not a problem, I can open another one. Not only is this totally ridiculous and exposes whatever incentive or directive HD has placed on their employees to get new HD card sign ups, it would cost an inquiry on the customer’s credit and will probably result in denial since they already have that card. Monkeying around with closing an existing card to create a new account could negatively impact a customer’s credit score as well. I feel sorry for uninformed customers who fall for this scam. Seriously, Home Depot - this is how you treat customers?

Feedback:

An establishment you can visit for all the tools, hardware, garden center and equipment needed to complete any project.

We ordered laminate on April 25, it was supposed to come in10 business days, it came in a month. We ordered a vanity, it was supposed to come in a week, but almost a month later when I went personally to the store to ask about it they discovered it was lost in transit. We ordered something for the laminate, that came on time (a week), but it was the wrong one, so now we have to patiently wait for the right thing to come. THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE. That being said,..... the people working in the store are great (always available, polite and helpful)

Feedback:

I have given this store a chance time after time after time. First of all they no longer carry MinWax products having gone exclusive with Varethane. Not a big deal if your color you seek is some shade of brown, that's all they carry. Thats fine, Lowes carries what I need and will drive the extra distance.Second, this is the 3rd time I have gone to buy pressure treated lumber. This is also the third time I have found their selection so water-logged that it is unusable until you let it sit in the sun for 2 days, constantly flipping the piece as it warps. I weighed one of the 2x4x8's and it was just shy of 28lbs...it will weigh all of maybe 5lbs when it dries out. Overall their selection of wood is bad...what pieces that are actually straight are so beat up you can't use them anyway.Constantly things in the aisle and the nice lights they installed on the shelves have not worked the last two times I have been in there. Do yourself a favor, drive the extra distance to the store in Ledgewood or better yet, just go to Lowes. This store has consistently gone downhill the last year.

Feedback:

Staff in garden area pleasant but not able to direct me to planter brackets location. Might not have any. They should know. I bought planter boxes anyway.
