Decent course, lots of scenery, and good fairways. I would like to make bote though, the greens are very squishy. You can't really fly the pin and voice back, it's more of a bottom of the pin and roll. Just making that clear (reason for the 4 stars). But overall good course, it is quite the challenge.👍

All I can say is WOW from a caters point of view.. Aug 23rd was our first time catering an event at this venue. The Ballroom seats 120 ppl with an Adjoining Room Dance floor area off the main Ballroom with easy Access and full views from the Ballroom. Another nice feature is that a buffet reception line is also off the main Ballroom as well with easy access to the outside terrace from both the Ballroom and food reception area . This allows all guest's to have more room in the main Ballroom to mix and mingle . The sales staff is great to work with and went out of thier way at our Final meeting with the Bride and Groom , DJ , event planner an Photographer as well as myself the cater. Great job Country Club of Silver Springs Shores...

The shores is a challenging golf course for the low handicap to the beginner.It offers some of the most beautiful surroundings in this area and is fun to play.Highly recommend you give it a try

Over all the courses in good shape around 18 was the worst green out of all of them .....around the greens are in good shape rain has done this course some justice for the grass and fairways ... verta cut like 3 weeks ago .... just about every trap is a pool of water which is a real down side ... but who wants to play out of a bunker anyway .... with all the rain we have had its not unusual at this course ....some of the fairways have standing water across them ..... grass in tee boxes is about a 5 at least at the blues where I played today ..... fairways around 6 to 7 as long as you are in the fairway .... its deep and long stringy grass to the left and the right as usual so you better hit it straight .... greens are soild 7 to 8 ....they play slow and ball sticks when it lands so go for the pin and get rewarded ... over all the course is in better shape than it has been in the past..... would play it again .....good to see the owners and staff working hard to keep it up ...

What a hidden treasure right here in Ocala friendly staff, great prices from the clubhouse to the menu,Thursday league starting now and others are also available new carts also
