I went to Tax Pro to make sure things got done fast and correctly. With 1 W2 and no extra paperwork, I thought it would be relatively cheap. Boy was I wrong. $300+ to be taken out of my refund. Wow, that's a bit much for a five minute filing. A couple of weeks later I got a check for $28 in the mail from the IRS and thought that was the end of it. Then comes today when I'm woken up for a collections call. I did not receive a prior bill or notice, they simply sent it to a debt collector. I've got no problem paying for a service I asked for, but the price, the complete lack of communication, and now the collections has made me realize that I'm never going back to these guys and I'm spreading the word.$300 turns out to be my stupid-tax to find out I could easily do my own online.
