If I could give zero stars I would. Dan was beyond frustrating to work with. He received our taxes months in advance, I called and emailed multiple times to check the status of our taxes and was told he was working on them. He didn’t even START our taxes until the DUE DATE OF APRIL 15th! And in turn had to file an extension. Yet failed to file an extension with the state of Idaho until the 23rd of April- and obviously neglected to informed us of his negligence. We received a late penalty for filing a late extension from the state of Idaho tax commission which caught us completely off guard. Not only all of that happened, but he also attempted to charge us more than he initially quoted us for our taxes after he filed them LATE, and he didn’t even file them another CPA in his office did because he was on vacation immediately following the 15th. HORRIBLE experience and I would never recommend anyone take their taxes here. H&R Block would be a better choice
