Feedback:

Unfortunately I worked through this agency in 2014 and I loved my job at the call center, I had a public domestic violence attack and had to go the next morning to court and I called the leader in charge at the company I was working with. He then answer and said he would speak to the boss and contact symphony . I received a call from symphony placements saying I was fired to not show up anymore, didnt give me another chance to return nor show them the proof all my paperwork from the retraining order I had to put on the individual. They dont care about their employees nor do they have professional manners. Those woman are running a horrible business and making money off the people who do work and have the dedication and love to helping customers.

Feedback:

Would NOT recommend. Nicole tried to force me to stay in a position I was not happy with and refused to place me elsewhere. They do not communicate with you or the employer they assign you to. Also, they couldn’t provide me with the contact information of the company I was working for. Unprofessional. I never got paid on time I always had to call and ask why I haven’t received my check. It’s sad save yourself the headache.

Feedback:

Did not pay me on time, spent 3 hours of phone time trying to sort out the issue.

Feedback:

Maryland Dermatology,Laser, Skin and Vein Institute has been using Symphony Placements for several years. The staff at Symphony is friendly and most importantly, responsive. They are quick to understand our needs and only sends candidates that fit those needs. We have found excellent employees with Symphony Placements.

Feedback:

The recruiter Nicole completely wasted my time. She couldn't even return my calls or emails. Very unprofessional. This use to be a decent agency.

Feedback:

I thought too they were professional, I was placed in an environment where there were mice running around daily, I was constantly being bit by bugs, I complained, asked to be placed somewhere else. I wasn't, my recruiter was rude, changed and I was never informed, I had to call to find that out. They avoid your calls.

Feedback:

Rude people, unprofessional

Since Google does not let me reply to the CEO's reply, I will go ahead and reply it here. Dear Wanda,First of all, thank you for your prompt reply on this public page after I had emailed you and your President- Marta a very long letter explaining my true situation since there is always 2 sides of the story. But if you want, I can tell you what I think after reading your reply. And please save the apology, it does me no good. If your action speaks louder than words, I will believe it.1- THIS IS NOT AN OVERSIGHT MISTAKE. I said this because I sent my direct deposit info to your staff, cc Marta PRIOR to my start date. I also got confirmation from Nicole my info has been sent to payroll. So there is no oversight here. You cannot blame the storm for holding up my payment because if you staff is truly doing her job, i will have my pay on time. No needed to mail the card during the storm. This is why I chose DD because of East vs West Coast. But if your staff member really listens to what I said, this will not happen at my expense2- You were hoping the card will get to me today, Saturday, tell you what it is still not here. Instead of jumping right on depositing into my account to massage my pain, you were hoping the card will get here today. It is not here yet! and I don't know when it will get here. So in short, your company is owing me money! I don't care when i will see the card; according to you, I am not getting paid as of today.3- You claimed to be professional but your staff is not. She- Nicole is the root cause to this issue. Instead of saying something like: I will make sure training will happen so this will not occur again, you sent me the lunch gift card. Tell you what, it will go back to you since I need my pay. That is it! I don't need any extra money from your company that I did not work for.Would you also like me to tell you what your payroll said to me on the phone? Or even what Nicole said to me? I wondered if they truly told you 100% of what really happened on the phone.4- I got overdraft fee from my bank for not having payment on time, and you sit over there telling me to hope, to wait for the card. Where is the fairness and justice for this? You have no right to tell me to wait as it is the must do thing. I work I get paid, I am not begging you. Your staff member made me to start a week early, did I ask them to wait a week for me? Or I am jumping right into it to make your client happy? So, where is the balance here? I go above and beyond to work my a**s off for you, and on my payday I am supposed to wait for my money??? You will NEVER understand situation like me because you are fortunate enough to not worry about money. But I am. I have kids, and family to take care. I don't sit around waiting for a few hundred bucks which could help me a lot. I expect it to deposit into my account. You have too much money to care so why would I need to understand for you? Also did your client tell you how professional, punctual I am to them? I guess not huh. So, I am being nice to you and your company in exchange for not getting paid on time and need to sit around waiting for the card. Where on earth this justice is?Finally, to all prospective employees out there, if you are desperate for a job, this company is for you. If not, please take time and find somewhere else that values you, your work and pay on time. I will return the gift card to you as soon as it hits my mailbox, I don't need your lunch money. I think it will get to me before the cash card. If I don't see my payment deposited into my bank on Monday, I will report to Labor Industries. I also stopped working for Symphony because I am so scared of not getting paid by next week. Have a great day!

Feedback:

If I could leave a negative star for this company, I would. Nicole Thoms-the recruiter really needs some training on how to be a normal person/customer oriented; especially this company advertised themselves as bringing harmony to the people. She was not only incompetent with the simple task but also very difficult to work with. There is no connection of understanding what is the job seeker looking for, but also lied to your face about facts.I like the job where they placed me but definitely working for this staffing agency is a mistake. Processed paperwork late, incorrectly, then refused to make it right but just " sorry, our hands are tied". Please DO NOT work for this company. You may need job and there will be plenty, just don't get yourself into this. It does not matter if you are acting as a professional trying to do things right to make their job easier, she would not care. Unless she can be replaced then I hope to see lights at the tunnel.

Feedback:

Symphony Placements is amazing! I spoke to a recruiter on a Monday via phone, and on Tuesday I came into their office to meet with the President of the Company and my recruiter and before I knew it the same day I was off to an interview with a company and got an offer the same day! Doesn't get any better than this!
