I had a very disappointing experience. The environment and the actual salt cave were absolutely lovely. Sadly, the customer service was the worst I've ever had. It took two weeks to get a call back to reserve an appointment. I called about ten times during their working hours and was put straight to voicemail each time; I left multiple messages with call back information as well. The person I finally spoke with over the phone was not patient, kind, or helpful. There were miscommunications happening and she did not work to understand what I was asking for. I ended up being charged full-price for an additional package on top of the one I was attempting to schedule. Once I realized what was actually happening she had already taken my credit card information and stated that she could not give me a refund for that second charge. I wasn't able to get anywhere while on the phone and planned to find a resolution once I visited the cave in-person. The same person was working and I had even worse interactions. I received an unbelievable amount of unapologetic condensation, attitude, and sarcasm. This same person barked instructions once entering the cave, which set the tone for my time in this "peaceful" space. The purpose of spending intentional time with Himalayan sea salt is to relax, heal, and rejuvenate. No matter how hard I tried to meditate/clear my mind/brush off the negative I was unable to have that experience due to the poor customer service. I was never refunded and ended up giving up because I didn't want to have any more confrontational interactions with this person. I would not recommend the salt cave to friend or foe.

Try changing your blankets between customers. I should call the health department on this place. These people run multiple side businesses and cater to wealthy stupid people. Try healing people that need it, start with your employees who take multiple forms of transportation to show up to work everyday and do the best they can to keep a decent job. Shame on you.

Bethesda salt cave is the best therapeutic spa in Bethesda. It has a one-of-a-kind natural salt cave and the massage therapists are very excellent too, like Mimi and Heather. The owner and her staff make you feel like you are VIPs, they are so caring and supportive. If you need more self care in your life come here. It is a spectacular business and rare to find a space with such a variety of therapies. Also, Groupons make it more affordable.

This place is absolutely, Amazing! I booked an appointment for salt cave therapy. The experience was beyond what I had imagined. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. I have recommended this little “heaven-on-earth” to my close friends and family. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

New experience! I went for the first time this weekend with a friend and I absolutely enjoyed it!! It was a good and relaxing 45 mins away from the outside world. It's great for personal meditation if you are into that (that's what I did) or just simply take a nap and breathe in the salt air! Leaves you feeling cleansed 🙌 I would recommend for everyone to try it!

I experienced the Salt Cave yesterday. I could immediately feel the benefits/results afterwards. I feel so much lighter and my Spirit feels rejuvenated. I am more at peace and joyful. I also had been experiencing issues with my allergies and sinuses, and I see improvement there, as well. The Owner and staff are so nice, informative, and helpful! I will definitely become a regular for the Salt Cave and other services in which I am interested. I am so appreciative and grateful! Thank you Bethesda Salt Cave!
