NO STARS! Last year I wasn't totally thrilled, but I thought I'd give them a second chance. Last year I was a little put off when I picked up my taxes that Leslie was making small-talk with her last client during my appointment time about their vacation, which cut my time short and she shooed me out the door saying "she had another appointment to get to." This year, I never met, nor ever saw Leslie. I met with some random woman who had such a heavy foreign accent, I could hardly understand a thing she was saying. After about 4-5 tries, I figured out she was asking me for their their "tax organizer." When I told her I didn't have that she scowled at me, but I told her I had my own summary list to which she said was great. She asked me absolutely no questions about my business, nor anything about any of the items on my list. I was told they'd have to file an extension because it was about 10 days before the tax deadline. 10 days? But okay. So I was told to contact them at the beginning of May. Wow, a whole month? So I called on May 2nd for an appointment to pick up my taxes and I was told it would be another 2 weeks because they were going on vacation. VACATION? Seriously?! This is their busiest time of year. I've waited a month, and they think it's appropriate to go on vacation? That is in serious bad taste. I ended up with an appointment for the for the next week. When I arrived there was a girl on the phone taking a whole bunch information from someone. She didn't so much as even look up and acknowledge me. Finally another woman walked out of an office and greeted me and said as soon as the girl was off the phone, that she'd take care of me. Really? No one else can help out? So I waited another 5 minutes or so while the young girl on the phone finished up, only to have the exact same woman (Krystal) that greeted me, say NOW she could help me. That was really weird, unnecessary, and a total waste of my time.So Krystal takes me back to an office and tells me that I didn't have my business miles listed, so they just used what they used last year. I told Krystal that it was on my summary sheet I provided them. She rifled through all the papers only to find "mileage (business)" written on my summary sheet. How much clearer could that have been? So she walks out of the room where I sat; waiting. Then after a few minutes she comes back again, sticks her head in the door, and asks me about another item to which I told her it was "home improvement." She didn't ask me what kind of home improvement, nor did she even give me a chance to elaborate, as she quickly shut the door and was down the hall. If she would have asked me, I would have told her that it was for repair to the HVAC for my home office because it gets so hot in there. I'd bet dollars to donuts that they didn't give me any credit for that. And really?...NOW they're asking me questions??? NOW? AFTER the return is finished??? So she finally comes back and rattles off a list - like I'd understand what all the mumbo jumbo meant, and tells me that I didn't have enough to itemize. Seriously? I had 2 major surgeries, a business trip, lots of business mileage, and I made less income than last year. I don't get it, nor did I really feel comfortable to even ask. At the very end she asked me if I had any questions. Uh...way too many to start asking at this point. I told her right then and there that I wouldn't be back.This office is an assembly line. Get 'em in, get 'em out as fast as you can. Don't ask the client any questions, because that would take up our precious time. There is NO customer service whatsoever, and NO rapport with their customers. It's all the about money. Last year I called and wanted to ask a simple question and I was told I'd have to make an appointment to which there would be a $200 fee for. Real nice! I found this experience extremely cold, unfriendly, awkward, and indifferent; doing as little as possible and charging way too much for it that ate up the majority of my refund. I WILL NOT be back. I was just the cash cow to fund their vacation.
