Client Review on South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation local office
Feedback:
I felt like my job discrimination complaints were not taken seriously here where I am always assigned to Investigator Ray Falk. I do not have a lawyer of course but should a person have to buy a lawyer in order to receive adequate help to be hired at a job? This last time Ray Falk never investigated my job discrimination complaints for $15 an hour job (I have 2 college degrees) nor issued a decision because he said that its South Dakota policy for all age discrimination complaints to forward to the Minneapolis EEOC. When I had a complaint before without the age discrimination it was duscussed I was discriminated against but my complaint was dismissed and I was forwarded to Chicago EEOC. So far I have not seen any help come from these employment offices towards helping me find a job and felt they didnt adequately investigate discrimination against me based on paperwork I gave to them. Is it right for childless divorced women to be discriminated against at offices where they are asking for employment help? Even for a mcdonalds job or minimum wage job with my 2 college degrees I am sure to receive no help from these employment offices. I have complained about jobs that pay under $20 an hour with no resolution from this entity. I see people pawn things off in other directions with no resolution here in your office where it costs unemployed person $500 to file a case in Court. I spend $10 -$15 or more sometimes to correspond with each office I am forwarded to. $900 and more to file in Court and appeal with no affordable lawyer for my many concerns. Thank you for hearing my concern and I hope you will improve your programs or maybe just stop paying for programs that arent helping anyone?
