Client Review on State Farm
Feedback:
Buying a policy was very straightforward and quick (well, I guess they want your money). However, when you want to cancel the policy/policies, things became complicated. First, even though I was told I can cancel any time, this turned out to be wrong; indeed, I was unable to cancel on a weekend b/c cancelling policies can only be done by the agent and not by phone through the hotline (why?). Hence, you can only cancel by next Monday... Second, it so happened that I wanted to cancel two policies (rentals and car) simultaneously. For some reason, this was too difficult for the agent responsible, so that she canceled one policy on one date, and the other policy on another (later) date... Third, as if this was not enough, I still have not received my money back, after several weeks of waiting! --- So, in conclusion: no, I cannot recommend this agency, and would also think twice before buying anything from State Farm again. I'm with AAA now, and very happy so far.
